The existing bridge was a 139’ x 18’ steel high truss bridge with timber abutments and a concrete deck. The bridge was both structurally deficient and functionally obsolete and did not meet current hydraulic and load carrying requirements. The project consisted of a 150’-0 x 24’-0 single-span pretensioned prestressed concrete beam (PPCB) bridge and approximately 415 lineal feet of roadway grading. CB&A assisted the County in design, plan preparation, and construction haunch and shop drawing review during construction.
