Jefferson County – Peach Ave. Bridge Over Walnut Creek

The existing bridge was a 112’ x 17’ pony truss bridge with timber abutments and timber piers which spanned Walnut Creek. The bridge was structurally deficient and did not meet current hydraulic or loading requirements. The project consisted of a custom 110’ x 24’ single-span pretensioned prestressed concrete beam bridge with integral abutments and approximately 250 lineal feet of approach grading.
